Order Processing

All items will be processed for dispatch within 24 hours upon receipt of cleared payment. Items ordered before 12 p.m. can normally be dispatched same day except on weekends and public holidays. 

30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase and feel the item is not exactly as described simply contact us via email or telephone stating the reasons of your dissatisfaction and we will do our utmost to resolve the issue without delay. If you feel the item is not as described and you would prefer to return it, simply contact us within 30 days and we will arrange to get the item returned and refunded.

Dead On Arrival (DOA)

Ex Demo Hut offer a standard warranty period of seven days from purchase date on all products. Within this seven day period, any product that is confirmed as being DOA by our Customer Services Department will then be issued a Returns Number. Customers who receive a DOA product should contact us within 48 hours of receiving the goods. The value of the faulty items will be credited to your account upon receipt of said faulty items. If there are any signs of box damage we would ask all customers to sign the delivery “Unchecked” and report the damage within 48 hours of receipt.

Erroneous Deliveries (Incorrect goods delivered)

In the highly unlikely event that you receive a different product or quantity of products than what you ordered then you may have been shipped the wrong product or our warehouse team may have picked and shipped the wrong items. Please inform our Customer Services Department within 48 hours of receipt of the incorrect goods. Once we have determined the error, we will ensure that the appropriate course of action is carried out as swiftly and with as little inconvenience as possible.

Incorrect Delivery Address

In the unlikely event that we ship to a wrong delivery address, or have received the wrong delivery details from you, our Customer Services Department will do our utmost to ensure that the goods are redirected to the correct address as soon as possible.

Returns Procedure

If you have a problem with an order from Ex Demo Hut please call or email us and we will endeavour to get the most efficient and convenient course of action in motion.

In some cases we may need to issue you with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number.

Once you have received your RMA number please return the goods by courier (NOT first or second class mail) in it’s original packing, together with any accompanying components (cables, software, media etc.) to the address enclosed in RMA form with the RMA number clearly displayed on the outside of the package(s). We will provide you with suitable paperwork to assist.

The RMA must be returned within two weeks of the RMA being issued.

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform our Customer Services via telephone on 01216475075 or email at admin@exdemohut.com of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least ex-pensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than –

(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or

(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or

(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods
